FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

This FAQ section is designed to provide quick answers to some of the questions most often asked about Ultimate Outcomes.

Q: How did Ultimate Outcomes get its name?

Pastor Richard Elwell was a firm believer that the outcomes in our lives are a result of what we choose to believe and follow. If anyone came to him with a problem to discuss he would say, “God is smarter than we are and we do well to gain his perspective and choose to do things his way. Are you willing to look to God for understanding and follow what he says?” He would always encourage his congregants to consider the ultimate outcomes of the ideas that they believed.

Q: Is Ultimate Outcomes a non-profit?

Yes, Ultimate Outcomes is a non-profit which, according to Ser Humanos, means that it is dedicated to furthering a particular social cause or advocating for a shared point of view. In economic terms, it is an organization that uses its surplus revenues to further achieve its ultimate objective, rather than distributing its income to the organization's shareholders, leaders, or members.

Q: Can I use these studies at my church?

The studies can be used free of charge by individuals or church groups. Each study is available in two formats: one with blank spaces after the questions to write in answers and the other with the answers inserted. Both can be easily downloaded from the website and can be printed off. It is our hope that individuals and churches find these materials helpful and will consider making a donation to Ultimate Outcomes.

Q: What does my donation go towards?

Donations enable Ultimate Outcomes to continue to operate and improve the website as well as develop and refine the materials it offers. There is one paid associate who works in those two areas. All other associates are volunteers. Since Ultimate Outcomes is a non-profit, all donations are tax deductible.

Q: What is the long-term goal of Ultimate Outcomes?

The long-term goal of Ultimate Outcomes is to continue to share and develop Bible studies, which help Christians understand and apply God’s Word more fully so that they experience the abundant life God desires for them. People are welcome to submit their own studies and blogs to be considered for inclusion on the website.
